Chloe and Ming married on March 21, 2015 – one of the first truly beautiful spring days in North Carolina. After the couple’s engagement in New York City, they started planning a meaningful day to begin their lives together. Their ceremony and reception took place on the grounds of Raleigh Chinese Christian Church, where the couple worships and the groom serves in the youth ministry. The entire day was complete with personalized touches, from Chloe’s love of all things Parisian to calligraphy by their talented friend Jasperlynn Kao to Chloe’s father officiating the ceremony. Chloe and Ming lead both hymns sung during their ceremony, with Chloe singing and Ming playing the guitar.
The bride wore a traditional American wedding gown for the ceremony and part of the reception and then changed into a more traditional Chinese wedding dress for the sparkler exit and family dinner. Later, the couple joined their friends in their new apartment for an after party, where they cheered on the NC State men’s basketball team and danced the night away on their patio.
